AKF 100.3 Subject files, 1980-2010
Scope and Contents
These files were assembled by former library staff from clippings and photocopies of articles excerpted from periodicals and publications including, but not limited to, the AKC Gazette. As most dog-related publications are not digitzed or indexed, these files still hold considerable research value.

Custodial History
Files were culled prior to the AKC headquarters move in Fall 2018. No more than 2 copies were maintained of each item. Bibliographies and other out-of-date or redundant items were also removed.
Separated Materials
The breed specific files were relocated to AKA 100.5 AKC National Breed Club collections - Breed and Club Files.
