7.7 Frank L. Grant memorial collection, 1935-1967

Scope and Contents

Frank L. Grant was an active exhibitor, breeder, and owner of Doberman Pinschers in the 1940s and early 1950s in Michigan and Ohio. He was also an accomplished trainer and judge of both conformation and obedience, judging the DPCA National Specialty twice. His Dobermans, Int. Ch. Ardexter vd Valtheim ("Dex") and Can./Am. Ch. Cristi vd Rhinegold, were accomplished in the show ring.

This collection includes a scrapbook in memorial of Frank L. Grant's contributions to the Doberman Fancy, and scrapbooks, photographs, and records of his own Dobermans, including Dex's award for National Specialty Winners Male in 1948.
