This album mainly includes win shots from various dog shows where Ch. Alemaps Checkmate was a winner, as well as some professional photographs of the dog. There are also some photographs of other Doberman Pinschers belonging to Bill Haines, including Ch. Balmoral Bonnet of Norloch, Ch. Checkmate's Beau Geste, and Alemaps Brazen Brat.

Scope and Contents George Rood (1914-2010) was a respected dog trainer, handler and dog show judge during his lifetime. He was honored with a "Lifetime Achievement Award" from the Doberman Pinscher Club of America in 2000 for his contributions to the breed.
