Scope and Contents This small collection of documents, photographs, and objects regarding Ch. Luz v. Rodeltal appears to have been compiled by Nancy K. Heitzman, DPCA Archives Committee Chairperson, beginning circa 1980s. Luz was born in Germany in 1926, a grandson of Lux v.d. Blankenburg, one of Germany's all-time leading sires. Haines was a Doberman owner, exhibitor, handler, and breeder in the late 1950s-1960s through his Michigan kennel, Checkmate Kennels and co-breeder/co-owner Jack F. Hronek.
