The German collection, compiled by the DPCA Archives Committee from member donations, consists of German-language periodicals and books about Doberman Pinschers (Dobermann-Pinschers in German) and German club yearbooks. Also included is a scrapbook of Ch. Troll von der Engelsburg and Ch. Asta von der Domstadt, notable Doberman imports from Germany.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of several scrapbooks and loose news clippings, correspondence, and periodicals featuring Ch. Rancho Dobe's Storm. Bred by Brint and Vivian Edwards of Rancho Dobe Kennels in California in December 1949, he was purchased as a puppy by Len Carey of New York City, where he lived in a high-rise apartment building with the Carey family.
