Scope and Contents William ("Bill") T. Haines was a Doberman owner, exhibitor, handler, and breeder in the late 1950s-1960s through his Michigan kennel, Checkmate Kennels and co-breeder/co-owner Jack F. Hronek. Scope and Contents Larry and Shirley Clardy of St. Joseph, Missouri, owned and bred Doberman Pinschers as Castle Lane Kennel. The Clardys notably bred Castle Lane Querida Miranda Centre and Shirlee of Castle Lane, Futurity winners at the DPCA's National Specialty shows in 1972 and 1973, respectively.
