Realia and Art includes a variety of three dimensional items representing and honoring Doberman Pinschers. There are several statues and book plates, club posters, pins, medallions, and works of art in sculpture and watercolors. Items of particular interest include a set of ear clamps from around 1980, and a print depicting the dog market in Apolda, Germany, where Doberman Pinschers originated.

Scope and Contents This small collection of documents, photographs, and objects regarding Ch. Luz v. Rodeltal appears to have been compiled by Nancy K. Heitzman, DPCA Archives Committee Chairperson, beginning circa 1980s. Luz was born in Germany in 1926, a grandson of Lux v.d. Blankenburg, one of Germany's all-time leading sires. Scope and Contents This collection consists of several scrapbooks and loose news clippings, correspondence, and periodicals featuring Ch. Rancho Dobe's Storm. Bred by Brint and Vivian Edwards of Rancho Dobe Kennels in California in December 1949, he was purchased as a puppy by Len Carey of New York City, where he lived in a high-rise apartment building with the Carey family. Scope and Contents Larry and Shirley Clardy of St. Joseph, Missouri, owned and bred Doberman Pinschers as Castle Lane Kennel. The Clardys notably bred Castle Lane Querida Miranda Centre and Shirlee of Castle Lane, Futurity winners at the DPCA's National Specialty shows in 1972 and 1973, respectively.
