This series consists of visual depictions, including scrapbooks, photographs, and video footage, of the DPCA's annual National Specialty shows. The annual scrapbooks and photograph compilations were created by DPCA and consist mostly of win shots with identifying information such as dog name, class, and placement. Catalog pages, judge biographies, candid photographs, and information on the show location are included in some scrapbooks. There are several photo collages with candid photographs from events during the National Specialty show weekends in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Video footage depicts action in the show ring and may contain commentary.

Access Restrictions

Two document boxes comprising governance files and National Specialty records are restricted and inaccessible due to the presence of inactive mold. Please see the archivist for details. The rest of the This collection is open to research without restrictions.
