Scope and Contents
Realia and Art includes a variety of three dimensional items representing and honoring Doberman Pinschers. There are several statues and book plates, club posters, pins, medallions, and works of art in sculpture and watercolors. Items of particular interest include a set of ear clamps from around 1980, and a print depicting the dog market in Apolda, Germany, where Doberman Pinschers originated.

Access Restrictions
Two document boxes comprising governance files and National Specialty records are restricted and inaccessible due to the presence of inactive mold. Please see the archivist for details. The rest of the This collection is open to research without restrictions.

Includes a variety of medals and pins from local kennel clubs, dog show judges' pins and medallions, and American Kennel Club pins. Notable pins include a Ladies' Dog Club pin (1914), an Orange Empire Dog Club, Inc. medallion celebrating 50 years (1938-1998), a Bucks County Kennel Club medallion celebrating 50 years (1942-1991), a Trumbull County Kennel Club pin celebrating 50 years (1950-2000), an American Kennel Club pin, a pin from The Dog Museum of America, a Kennel Club of Buffalo, Inc. medallion celebrating 50 years (1925-1975), a silver-toned CD medal, a medallion from the National Dobermann Council Australia, and a DPCA logo overlay medal (undated).
