Scope and Contents
This group of records includes two scrapbooks of Labrador Retriever clippings from dog publications and one photo album, numerous loose photographs and slides of Labrador Retrievers. Photographs include win shots, candids, portrait and profile snapshots, puppies, photographs with children, and field hunting. Many of the photographs in this collection were considered or used for Dorothy Howe's book, root>

Materials Specific Details
These include 4x5 inch candids from dog shows and body profiles of puppies. The photographs of gravestones were taken in the 1960s, and appear to belong to various ancestors of Dorothy Howe from the late 1700s and 1800s.
