Dorothy Page's handwritten notes regarding breedings, litter health, c. 1950s
Scope and Contents
Kennel and breeding records are comprised of records retained by Dorothy Page Whitney in her role as a breeder of Gordon Setters. Ms. Whitney kept detailed handwritten notes about her litters, their feedings and health, their pedigrees, and their new owners. Her notes in the 1950s are kept all together, while later notes are filed by litter. Also included are pedigree stubs retained by Ms. Whitney when providing pedigrees to new owners, as well as some full pedigrees. There are also registration certificates from the American Kennel Club and certificates of various AKC championships and achievements of Ms. Whitney's Gordon Setters.
