Scope and Contents
Dog Shows encompasses records, catalogs, photographs, and awards related to dog shows, particularly the Chihuahua Club of America's National and Rotating Specialty shows. Catalogs from both shows, as well as post-1983 regional specialty catalogs, are included along with one Chihuahua specialty show catalog from Mexico. For regional specialty catalogs before 1983, see the AKC Library. Also included are club-compiled scrapbooks of Best In Show winners and winners of the National Specialty annual show, as well as many photographs, consisting of win shots, candids, and group photos. There are a few files of win shots and awards of specific owners/handlers/breeders and Chihuahuas.
