Abstract

This collection consists of pamphlets containing rules, regulations, and guidelines dating from the 1930s to the present. The materials are arranged into seven series by topic. Within each subseries, pamphlets are organized chronologically and described at the item level. These publications are updated and issued on an ongoing basis to provide participants with current information.

Abstract The Dorothy Page Whitney collection of Gordon Setter papers includes records, clippings, and photographs of Ms. Page Whitney's activities related to Gordon Setters, including breeding, showing, club involvement, and field trial competitions. Included in the collection are records kept by Ms. Page Whitney related to Page's Kennel, under which she bred Gordon Setters beginning in 1949. Scope and Contents

The collection contains photos, pamphlets, a stud card, news clippings, and other publications on Otto Pohl and his Irish Setters. This includes depictions of some of the most prominent Irish Setters of the 20th century and commentary by A.F. Holchwalt, the author reknowned for "The Modern Setter."

The collection was assembled by Joe Rule, an admirer of Pohl's dogs.
