Scope and Contents These files consist of records created in the planning and execution of the DPCA's annual National Specialty shows. Planning documents may relate to show judge selection and balloting, expenses, promotional materials, awards, and other show logistics. Guest registers signed by DPCA members attending the show are included for most years. 7.7 Frank L. Grant memorial collection, 1935-1967

Scope and Contents Frank L. Grant was an active exhibitor, breeder, and owner of Doberman Pinschers in the 1940s and early 1950s in Michigan and Ohio. He was also an accomplished trainer and judge of both conformation and obedience, judging the DPCA National Specialty twice. His Dobermans, Int. Ch. Ardexter vd Valtheim ("Dex") and Can./Am. Ch. 7.10 Rod and Margaret Carveth collection, 1964-1972

Scope and Contents Rod and Margaret Carveth bought their first Doberman Pinscher in 1959. The Carveths began breeding in California under the "Tevrac" kennel name and produced numerous champions and titled dogs. The Carveths' Ch. Ru Mar's Tsushima, C.D., called "Tish," was the top winning dog of any breed in the United States in 1965. 7.11 Larry and Shirley Clardy collection, 1967-1975

Scope and Contents Larry and Shirley Clardy of St. Joseph, Missouri, owned and bred Doberman Pinschers as Castle Lane Kennel. The Clardys notably bred Castle Lane Querida Miranda Centre and Shirlee of Castle Lane, Futurity winners at the DPCA's National Specialty shows in 1972 and 1973, respectively.
