Scope and Contents

The AKC Library & Archives Biographical Files were compiled in the early 2000's by the AKC Library. Materials consist of newspaper clippings (original and facsimile), excerpts from books, AKC Board Member Announcements, obituaries, and original photographs pertaining to AKC Board Members, Staff, and important figures within the Dog Fancy. Original photographs are noted in the Scope and Contents field of the file in which they reside.
