Arrangement

Arranged by format, beginning with club presentations to the American Kennel Club, followed by club records such as annual reports, breed standards, National Specialty catalogs, club newsletters, correspondence, and lists of officers and directors. Articles, essays, and news clippings about Anatolian Shepherd Dogs are next, with photographs and realia included at the end.

Provenance

In the 1990s and 2000s, the Anatolian Shepherd Dog Club of America occasionally sent club materials to the AKC Archives. No deeds of gift were created for these donations and materials were placed on open shelves. In preparation for the AKC's move to a new headquarters in 2018, these materials were combined and processed by the archivists into a collection in light of the amount of club-related materials.
