Scope and Contents The collection is comprised of ten holiday cards distributed in the 1980s by AKC judge, Skye Terrier breeder, and Scottish Terrier fancier Sandra Goose Allen. All of the cards, signed by Sandra and her husband Ralph Allen, reproduce pen and ink drawings featuring Skye Terriers and the character Mother Goose who served as an alter ego of sorts for Allen. Sub-Series 1-C: Other Documents consists of periodicals, periodical clippings, a small amount of business and a larger amount of personal correspondence (mainly Christmas cards), and Gately's passport, along with the wallet he carried it in and the travel ephemera within the wallet, including business cards collected by Gately when he traveled to England to buy dogs.
