Abstract

This collection chronicles the activities of the Bull Terrier Club of America through its meeting minutes, publications, and show catalogs. Interspersed within the meeting minutes are clippings, correspondence, fliers, and reports related to the breed.

Scope and Contents Note Winkie (W.E.) Mackay-Smith's papers, date mostly from the 1980's, although there is some material from as early as 1967 and from as late as 1997. The collection provides a more in-depth look at some of the Bull Terrier Club of America's concerns and politics during the 1980's, a particularly active and turbulent time for the Club.
