Abstract

This collection consists of pamphlets containing rules, regulations, and guidelines dating from the 1930s to the present. The materials are arranged into seven series by topic. Within each subseries, pamphlets are organized chronologically and described at the item level. Abstract

The Wilbur E. Henry "Red" collection of Beagle research materials (1878-1975) documents Henry's interest in the history, breeding, and training of hunting dogs. Included are original pedigrees, correspondence, notes, pamphlets, pictures, and ephemera assembled by Henry over the years. Highlights are early 20th-century ephemera, advertisements, field trial records, pedigrees, photographs, and correspondence related to prominent Beagles.
