Scope and Contents

This collection includes the American Kennel Club's Charter, Constitution and By-laws, and their amendments, Annual Reports, various committee meeting minutes, and documents related to incorporation and tax status.

Scope and Contents Files are composed of a wide range of materials collected by or submitted to the AKC Library & Archives. They primarily consist of correspondence between club or breed representatives and AKC executives or departments, as well as internal memoranda. Abstract

This collection consists of pamphlets containing rules, regulations, and guidelines dating from the 1930s to the present. The materials are arranged into seven series by topic. Within each subseries, pamphlets are organized chronologically and described at the item level. Scope and Contents The majority of these files center around club constitutions and by-laws including revision and amendment correspondence, drafts, permanent file copies, and printed pamphlets.
