Larry and Shirley Clardy of St. Joseph, Missouri, owned and bred Doberman Pinschers as Castle Lane Kennel. The Clardys notably bred Castle Lane Querida Miranda Centre and Shirlee of Castle Lane, Futurity winners at the DPCA's National Specialty shows in 1972 and 1973, respectively.
