Abstract

This collection consists of pamphlets containing rules, regulations, and guidelines dating from the 1930s to the present. The materials are arranged into seven series by topic. Within each subseries, pamphlets are organized chronologically and described at the item level. Collection includes a photograph of Mrs. Bissell and her Basset pack competing at Bryn Mawr; correspondence, including attempts to import hounds from England and France; pedigrees; a 1971 clipping on Beagle packs in the Wilmington, Delaware "Evening Journal;" and registration, litter, and championship certificates. The bulk of the materials relate to Basset Hounds, though Beagles are also featured.
