Abstract

This collection consists of pamphlets containing rules, regulations, and guidelines dating from the 1930s to the present. The materials are arranged into seven series by topic. Within each subseries, pamphlets are organized chronologically and described at the item level. Abstract The Muskogee Kennel Club is an American Kennel Club licensed, all-breed dog club in Muskogee, Oklahoma. The Muskogee Kennel Club Collection consists of photographs from the club's all-breed dog shows from 1974 to 1999 and one show catalog from 2004. Abstract

The Luis Sosa collection of dog show photography contains approximately 235,000 color negatives for win shots taken between 1992 and 2001 at shows chiefly in the Gulf Coast region of the United States. Inventories pair negative numbers with show name, date, breed, and owner name.

Abstract Eighty three 35mm color slides of amateur photography taken by fanciers Jack and Olive Cook at the 1942 Toledo Kennel Club Show and Detroit Kennel Club shows in Michigan. The images include many candids of benched dogs, in addition to groomers, junior handlers, spectators, vendor stands, and trophy tables.
